At Magnolia Springs you'll be close to local family and everything Lexington has to offer, but out-of-town kids and grandkids will love visiting, too! There are so many museums to tour-including the Aviation Museum, The Hunt-Morgan House, and the Headley-Whitney Museum. For history buffs, there's the Mary Todd Lincoln House and The Henry Clay Estate. Plus, all the horse racing activities and farm tours could keep the family entertained for days!

LAUREN SWORD

Executive Director

Lauren is deeply passionate about her career and believes that Celebrating Life with all the residents, families and employees is incredibly important. Lauren currently lives in Lexington, KY and enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Matthew and their three fur babies - Leapra, Larry, and Junior. 

She adores traveling and exploring new places and loves to hear about others' favorite destinations and experiences. When Lauren and Matthew aren't traveling, you'll find them being "foodies" and looking for new restaurants and cuisines to try - she especially loves sushi. In addition to traveling and trying new food, you can also find Lauren by the pool in the summer, playing volleyball, enjoying music by Miranda Lambert, cheering on the Wildcats, sipping sweet tea, enjoying Peonies and using retail therapy as a stress relief. Her favorite quote is by Franklin D. Roosevelt, "A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor." Lauren is thrilled to be a part of the Magnolia Springs Lexington community and looks forward to providing an excellent home for the residents and workplace for the employees daily.
